About the Role
Meta Product Managers collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, data scientists, and researchers to build innovative products. This role focuses on leading AI-native product development at scale, driving complex product areas by defining success metrics, prioritizing problems, and identifying optimal strategies within the broader organizational context. You will adapt strategies based on learnings and changing environments, build consensus on prioritization, and determine when to start or stop investments. Critically evaluate when AI is the best solution, articulating tradeoffs, risks, and second-order effects. Translate AI capabilities into compelling product visions that deliver differentiated value and develop AI-native strategies including comprehensive evaluations and data strategies for continuous improvement.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define product vision, develop roadmaps, drive progress against goals, resolve challenges, and enhance team effectiveness. Identify opportunities and dependencies across adjacent product areas, reimagine workflows using AI tools to increase velocity and capability, and foster a culture of rapid experimentation and learning. Scale AI best practices and responsible AI use across product teams to compound organizational capability over time. Support growth of other PMs and team members through mentorship and coaching on AI-native practices.

Influence strategy and progress across partner functions, orchestrate complex execution combining AI automation with strategic human oversight, and communicate product strategy clearly to all stakeholders. Use AI-enabled tools to build products, prototype, validate, and ship tangible artifacts. Interpret research and state-of-the-art learnings to design product strategy with rigorous logical reasoning. Demonstrate deep understanding of system and architecture trade-offs impacting user experience and business outcomes, leading credible technical discussions with engineering partners.

Gather and analyze user research and market data to inform decisions and influence the wider product organization. Design sophisticated experiments leveraging AI to accelerate analysis and drive concrete product decisions. Define and run evaluations to interpret model outputs and adjust execution based on learnings, establishing evaluation as a core product practice across teams.

Requirements

Experience

Experience managing products through full lifecycle and driving step changes in product performance and team effectiveness. Extensive experience analyzing large-scale complex data sets and making data-driven decisions. Demonstrated proficiency using AI-enabled tools to build product artifacts and developing/scaling AI-native strategies including evaluations and data strategies across teams. Experience integrating diverse user requirements and organizational context into coherent product strategies. Proven ability to lead, motivate teams, and influence across organizations. Experience identifying and hiring talent to build AI-capable cross-functional teams.

Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies. Experience integrating AI tools to optimize workflows and drive measurable impact such as efficiency gains and quality improvements. Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices including risk assessment, bias mitigation, and quality reviews.
