In this leadership role, you will drive the team's goals and technical direction to pursue opportunities that make your larger organization more efficient. You will effectively communicate complex features and systems in detail, understand industry and company-wide trends to help assess and develop new technologies, and partner with organization leaders to improve team and organizational performance. You will identify new opportunities for the larger organization and influence appropriate stakeholders for staffing and prioritization.

You will lead long-term technical strategy and roadmap for large cross-company efforts, suggest, collect, and synthesize requirements to create an effective feature roadmap, and identify and resolve performance and scalability issues while driving large efforts to reduce technical debt.

Experience
- Programming experience in relevant languages such as C, C++, Java, Swift, Kotlin, and scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Hack
- Proven track record of planning multi-year roadmaps aligning short-term projects with long-term missions
- Experience communicating and collaborating across functions to drive solutions
- Experience mentoring and influencing experienced engineers across organizations
- Experience driving large cross-functional and industry-wide engineering efforts
- Experience utilizing data and analysis to explain technical problems and provide detailed feedback and solutions
- Experience improving quality through thoughtful code reviews, appropriate testing, proper rollout, monitoring, and proactive changes
- Experience building large-scale applications or similar projects
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize and redesign workflows, driving measurable impact such as efficiency gains and quality improvements
- Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices including risk assessment, bias mitigation, and quality and accuracy reviews
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development including prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration, and staying current with emerging AI technologies

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
