About the Role

As a Project Controls Engineer, you will be part of the HS2 Track infrastructure project at its initial design phase, working alongside a collaborative Rail Systems Alliance team. This role involves supporting project schedule, budget, and progress management to ensure successful delivery of large-scale transportation infrastructure. You will assist in maintaining project documentation, preparing performance reports, performing Earned Value Analysis, and coordinating with various stakeholders to achieve shared goals for cost and schedule. Project Description
The Ferrovial BAM Joint Venture has a proven track record delivering critical UK infrastructure projects on time and budget, including Crossrail contracts, Silvertown Tunnel, and multiple HS2 packages. This role offers the chance to contribute to landmark projects shaping the future of UK transport infrastructure.
Experience
- Experience as a Project Controls assistant or engineer on medium scale projects.
- Basic understanding of project management principles including Earned Value Management (EVM), project planning, and risk management.
- Experience working on NEC 3 or NEC 4 contracts.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and general IT skills.
- Ability to work independently with supervision and deliver timely, high-quality reports.
- Strong initiative and a solutions-oriented approach.
- Ability to build positive relationships and liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related qualification, or NVQ equivalent level is desirable.
