About the Role
Join Ferrovial, a global leader in infrastructure, where innovation meets opportunity. As a Technical Assurance Engineer, you will join the HS2 Track infrastructure project at the initial design phase, working within a collaborative Rail Systems Alliance structure to manage interfaces and resolve program conflicts. You will be responsible for supporting FBRS’s design delivery by capturing, developing, and demonstrating compliance to requirements, facilitating configuration and technical change management, and managing technical assurance activities to achieve self-assured delivery of the project.
Your key responsibilities include preparing, implementing, and maintaining the Requirements and Assurance Management Plan (RAMP), establishing and maintaining the Contractor’s Technical Requirements Baseline, managing identification and decomposition of requirements, and ensuring that the design is safe, compliant, integrated, and verified throughout all technical lifecycle stages. You will lead the production of integrated evidence to assure stakeholders of project progress and compliance, promote streamlined processes, and manage residual risks.
You will also manage subordinate roles including Deputy Technical Assurance Lead and Technical Assurance Engineers, coordinate technical assurance activities to achieve Level 3 certification for each work package, lead reviews of assurance packs and artifacts, and deliver technical assurance communications and training. This role requires close collaboration with project delivery teams, leadership, clients, subcontractors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
