About the Role
Join Ferrovial, a global leader in infrastructure, and contribute to the HS2 Track infrastructure project as a Project Controls Manager. This role supports the early design stage of the track works, running alongside the completion of main works contracts. You will operate within a collaborative Rail Systems Alliance structure, managing interfaces and resolving program conflicts. The role involves leading the development and monitoring of project schedules and budgets to ensure delivery milestones and cost targets are met. You will oversee project performance reporting, Earned Value Analysis, and KPI monitoring in partnership with contractors. Maintaining accurate project documentation and resource-loaded schedules will be key responsibilities, alongside liaising with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders. You will provide leadership and analytical support to the project controls team, ensuring high-quality outputs that align with internal governance and external requirements.

Requirements

Experience
- Proven experience as a Project Controls Manager on medium to large-scale projects.
- Strong track record of leading teams and delivering high-quality project controls outputs.
- Comprehensive understanding of project management principles including Earned Value Management (EVM), project planning, and risk management.
- Experience delivering project controls on NEC3 / NEC4 contracts with a solid understanding of contractual requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general IT skills.
- Skilled in project management tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Power BI, or similar software.
- Ability to deliver timely, high-quality reports.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related qualification, or NVQ equivalent level (desirable).
