About the Role
Join Ferrovial, a global leader in infrastructure, as a Project Controls Engineer on the HS2 Track infrastructure project. This role is based at the initial design phase running alongside the peak of main works contracts. You will be part of a collaborative Rail Systems Alliance structure focused on managing interfaces and resolving program conflicts. As a Project Controls Engineer, you will assist in maintaining and updating project schedules, budgets, and progress reports. You will support the preparation of weekly and monthly performance reports, perform Earned Value Analysis, monitor Key Performance Indicators, maintain project documentation, and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure accurate project data management. Experience
- Experience as a Project Controls assistant or engineer on medium scale projects.
- Basic understanding of project management principles including Earned Value Management (EVM), project planning, and risk management.
- Experience working on NEC 3 or NEC 4 contracts.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and general IT skills.
- Ability to work independently with supervision and deliver timely, high-quality reports.
- Strong initiative and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Ability to build positive relationships and liaise with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related qualification, or NVQ equivalent level is desirable.
- Familiarity with project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Power BI, or similar tools is advantageous.
