About the Role
As a Project Manager at Mace Construct, you will take ownership of aviation projects at Heathrow, turning plans into safe, well-managed delivery. You will work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams to keep work moving, manage risks early, and ensure projects stay on track from initiation through to completion. Your responsibilities will include supporting the development of project execution plans, programmes, and delivery strategies; coordinating designers, consultants, contractors, and specialist suppliers; managing project budgets, forecasts, and cost reporting; tracking progress against key milestones and addressing issues proactively; identifying, managing, and escalating project risks and opportunities; building strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders; leading project meetings and maintaining accurate records; supporting procurement activities and contractor management; managing change control processes; monitoring project performance against agreed time, cost, and quality objectives; supporting the preparation and delivery of project handover information; and promoting safe working practices to ensure compliance requirements are met.

Experience
- Delivering construction or infrastructure projects
- Managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Managing project programmes, budgets, and risk registers
- Working in live operational or highly regulated environments (desirable)
- Delivering projects in an aviation environment (desirable)
- Knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial management processes (desirable)
- Managing design coordination and project governance requirements (desirable)

About You
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of project controls
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in construction, engineering, project management, or a related discipline
- Valid CSCS card or equivalent certification
- Professional membership such as APM, CIOB, RICS, or ICE (desirable)
