About the Role
We are on a mission to digitally transform back-office processes and improve systems integration, enabling our organisation to deliver excellent customer service, work efficiently, and enhance management information. As part of this transformation, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead large-scale, complex projects that drive meaningful change across the organisation.
Reporting to the Digital Transformation & Change Manager, you will work closely with Digital Transformation Leads to ensure our most challenging digital projects are correctly planned, monitored, and delivered. This role requires immersion in project details, removing barriers, and enabling success.
Although this is not an IT role, all projects have a strong IT orientation. Our organisation extensively uses Dynamics 365, including D365 for Finance & Operations, D365 for Customer Service, Power Platform, Power Apps, and Power BI. Experience with these systems is advantageous.
Key responsibilities include scoping, planning, and delivering digital projects aligned with our wider digital transformation strategy; managing the full project lifecycle and internal resource capacity; leading projects such as finance system integration, e-rostering implementation, and software enhancements; collaborating with internal departments and external suppliers; maintaining up-to-date project plans and clear communication with stakeholders; influencing and engaging stakeholders for effective collaboration and decision-making; overseeing project governance and compliance; leading cross-functional teams; tracking budgets and reporting to senior leadership; and promoting effective project management methodologies as an ambassador for digital transformation across the organisation.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within private or not-for-profit organisations
- Solid experience managing IT-based projects, including infrastructure and software development/deployment
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience with a track record of delivering digital transformation projects
- Experience in business change initiatives and full project lifecycle management
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to manage complex relationships
- Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or Trello
- Practical knowledge of business change methodologies (e.g., ADKAR, PROSCI, Kotter’s 8-Step Change Model)
About you
- Strong technical expertise in project management methodologies
- Knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or similar
- Ability to immerse in project details, remove barriers, and enable project success
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence and engage stakeholders effectively
Qualifications
- Relevant project management qualifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent experience
