Hours
Relief/Bank Staff working on an as and when required basis (zero hour contract). Shifts are 12 hours (8am - 8pm) and available for days and nights, including weekends.

Salary
£14.00 per hour

About the Role
Our multi-award-winning organisation is seeking a Relief Care Assistant to join our dedicated Care team. This pivotal role supports residents to live meaningful lives and feel involved within their community. You will deliver care services within our Care Homes to excellent standards, assisting residents with personal care, food and drink, and medication administration. You will support residents in all activities of daily living to maximise wellbeing and promote choice, independence, and dignity. Additionally, you will provide encouragement and companionship by engaging with residents and other stakeholders, and support recreational activities.

Experience
Previous experience in care is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. A Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care is required or a willingness to be trained.

About you
You are naturally compassionate and demonstrate integrity by treating residents fairly and with respect. You have a willingness to undertake all aspects of care to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents. You are able to work shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications
Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to be trained.
