About the Role
At WSP, you will have the opportunity to work on complex rail projects of regional, national, and international significance. As a Project Manager within the PMCM Rail team, you will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and to a high-quality standard. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage client and stakeholder relationships, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Your role includes managing contracts (NEC3 & 4), budgets, risks, and project changes, while driving innovative solutions and continuous improvement. You will act as a safety leader, ensuring adherence to Construction Design Management (CDM) regulations and corporate governance. Requirements

Experience
- Proven experience managing NEC3/4 contracts and significant rail projects, including client-side delivery (design and build).
- Experience working with organisations such as Transport for Wales, Network Rail, or similar rail entities is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and successful workstreams.
- Skilled in project management, technical management, project controls, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in preparing project reports, managing budgets, risks, and contract compliance.

Qualifications
- Degree in a relevant engineering or management discipline such as project management, construction management, engineering, science, or building.
- Chartered membership of a relevant professional body or nearing completion is advantageous.
- Professional certifications such as APM, MSP, PMI, PRINCE2, or Six Sigma are beneficial.
