About the Role and Our Ideal Candidate
- Build and maintain relationships with landlords and letting agents
- Negotiate rent levels, incentives, and tenancy terms
- Market the Council’s lettings service and attract new properties
- Match households to suitable accommodation and arrange viewings
- Progress tenancy applications, references, and sign-ups
- Manage enquiries from tenants and landlords and resolve tenancy issues
- Assist with rent arrears arrangements and mediate disputes
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to performance targets

Experience
- Experience or strong interest in the private rented/lettings sector
- Ability to work to targets and manage a busy caseload
- Customer-focused with the ability to work with vulnerable households

- Organised, proactive, and able to build positive working relationships
