At Ferrovial, we are not just a company; we are a community of innovators and trailblazers. Ferrovial Construction is internationally recognized for its capacity to design and build civil engineering and construction projects, mainly in large transportation infrastructure. Our track record includes over 304 miles of tunnels, 11,930 miles of roads (including 2,485 miles of highways), 2,920 miles of railroad lines (including 434 miles of high-speed railroads), and 16,994 miles of road maintenance and repair.

As a Rail Systems Integration Engineer within the Engineering/Design department, you will support the management and coordination of all design interfaces between the Contractor’s systems scope and other HS2 contractors (Rail Systems, Civils, Stations) as well as with the Client. You will ensure technical consistency, contractual compliance, and integrated assurance. Your responsibilities include supporting, implementing, and maintaining the Interface Management Plan and processes for railway systems design integration.

You will be accountable for delivering processes related to RAM, System Safety, Interoperability, and Security management as set out in FBRS management plans. Managing system integration processes from design to construction, maintaining Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and coordinating with contractors, clients, designers, and internal teams to resolve design interfaces and systems integration will be key.

Additional duties include programme and information coordination, liaising with the design supply chain to ensure efficient and compliant design delivery, and attending regular meetings with design, systems safety, construction teams, and clients in Birmingham/London as required. You will also chair railways systems/civils systems integration meetings and support the client with identifying change, risk, and opportunities.
