Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Receptionist on a Permanent basis at Sundial Day Care Centre. The Sundial Day Care provides care for people from all backgrounds and cultures. Whether you are looking for regular or short term respite, we provide care, support and stimulation for older people in social isolation, including those with mild to moderate dementia. Essentially we provide quality day care services for older people in the local community. We tailor our service to meet individual needs that aim to; maintain and promote independence. encourage social interaction. restore self-esteem. create a lively and friendly atmosphere where everyone is made to feel welcome. provide a stimulating environment with a variety of activities. As our new Receptionist, you will contribute to the smooth running of our centre and make a difference to the community we support! What we’re looking for: Are you courteous and respectful and can deliver an excellent service to our customers? Do you have a flexible and conscientious approach to work? Do you have an administrative background, can prioritise and work on your own initiative? Are you familiar with fast-paced environments? Could you promote our activity programmes and provide support organising community events? Do you have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages? If so, this role is perfect for you! A bit about the role: As the Receptionist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the reception area. proactively dealing with customer queries in person or on the phone. Some of the key results for the role include: Deliver an efficient, professional and calm reception service. Ensure customer queries, complaints or requests are responded to and followed up.
