About the Role
We are seeking an In-House Recruiter to join ABM's Recruitment team, supporting high-volume and specialist recruitment across multiple business areas. Reporting to the Director of Talent & Engagement, you will partner with Hiring Managers within our Facilities Management and Tech/Engineering divisions to attract, engage and hire talent for a wide range of roles. These include technical engineering positions such as Mobile Gas Engineers, Air Conditioning Engineers, Refrigeration & Chiller Engineers, Mechanical Engineers and Fabric Engineers, alongside frontline operational roles in Cleaning, Security and Facilities Services. You will manage multiple vacancies simultaneously, ensuring an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle. This role suits a recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building talent pipelines and utilising diverse sourcing methods to attract candidates in competitive markets. The successful candidate will be organised, resilient and proactive, capable of managing both high-volume campaigns and specialist vacancies while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end recruitment across a broad range of technical, engineering and frontline operational vacancies. Partner with Hiring Managers to understand hiring requirements, workforce plans and recruitment priorities. Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, talent pools and direct sourcing activities. Screen and assess applications against role requirements and provide recommendations to Hiring Managers. Coordinate interviews, assessments and offer processes, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout. Build and maintain talent pipelines for frequently recruited roles, including engineering, cleaning and security positions. Support high-volume recruitment campaigns and mobilisation projects where required. Track recruitment activity and provide regular updates to Hiring Managers and key stakeholders. Promote ABM's employer brand and employee value proposition to attract high-quality candidates. Ensure recruitment activity is compliant with company policies and relevant employment legislation. Work towards agreed recruitment KPIs, including time-to-fill, direct sourcing and candidate quality measures. Continuously identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and reduce agency reliance.

Requirements

Experience
Previous recruitment experience either in-house or within a recruitment agency environment. Proven ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously in a fast-paced setting. Experience recruiting for operational, engineering, facilities management, construction, industrial, logistics, security, cleaning or similar sectors. Skilled in sourcing candidates via job boards, LinkedIn, social media and direct sourcing techniques. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience building talent pipelines and maintaining candidate engagement. Confident using ATS systems (Workable preferred), recruitment platforms and Microsoft Office applications.

About you
Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail. Ability to prioritise workload effectively and meet recruitment targets. Resilient, proactive and able to maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and thrives on delivering results.

Desirable
Experience recruiting within Facilities Management, Building Services, Engineering, Security or Cleaning sectors. Experience supporting high-volume recruitment campaigns. Knowledge of engineering or technical recruitment markets.
