About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly proactive Recruitment Specialist (Project Lead) to lead a focused six-month recruitment project supporting a significant recruitment campaign across Finance. This is not a traditional vacancy-management role. You will take ownership of a defined recruitment project involving approximately 21 specialist roles, working closely with senior stakeholders to understand their requirements, develop targeted attraction strategies, and proactively identify and engage high-quality candidates.
You will lead the end-to-end recruitment process from initial scoping through to successful appointment, including building strong relationships with hiring managers, developing tailored sourcing strategies, headhunting, direct sourcing, networking, and managing candidates throughout the recruitment journey. You will provide credible specialist recruitment advice, review campaign performance, adapt sourcing strategies, and maintain momentum across multiple campaigns to ensure recruitment activity remains on track against agreed milestones.
You will be part of a collaborative Talent and Resourcing function, working alongside Recruitment Managers, Coordinators, and the wider HR & OD team to deliver a high-performing recruitment service. The team focuses on service delivery, innovation, and continuous improvement, using modern recruitment tools and ATS systems to optimise processes and enhance both hiring manager and candidate experience.
Experience
- Significant experience managing end-to-end recruitment campaigns.
- Proven track record recruiting specialist, professional, or difficult-to-fill roles.
- Strong experience in direct sourcing and headhunting beyond advertised applications.
- Evidence of developing successful candidate attraction strategies.
- Experience building professional networks, talent pipelines, and candidate communities.
- Ability to advise, influence, and challenge hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
- Strong candidate engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organisation and project-management skills, managing multiple vacancies and priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to use recruitment data and market intelligence to inform decisions and adapt approaches.
About You
You are a proactive, tenacious, and resourceful recruitment specialist who thrives on sourcing hard-to-find talent and building strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers. You are confident navigating new candidate markets, adapting your approach as needed, and using your expertise in attraction, sourcing, and stakeholder management to deliver successful recruitment outcomes. Above all, you are motivated by finding the right people rather than simply completing a process.
Qualifications
No specific qualifications are stated; however, relevant recruitment experience and a strong track record are essential.
