About the Role
This role is available for qualified nurses only. Join Maria Mallaband Care Group as a Registered Nurse and be empowered to deliver exceptional care every day. You will play a vital role advocating for residents by planning daily activities, creating personalised care plans, and ensuring individual needs and choices are met. Your leadership will promote dignity and safety, support your colleagues as a role model, and provide meaningful care to residents living with dementia and complex needs. Key responsibilities include medication administration, care planning, physical, emotional and spiritual support, safeguarding, shift leadership as Nurse in charge, team management, infection prevention and control, liaising with General Practitioners and Multi-Disciplinary Teams, and upholding clinical governance standards.

Eltandia Hall specialises in nursing and dementia care for elderly residents and care for younger residents with physical disabilities. The home offers a varied daily activities programme to support residents’ mental and physical wellbeing, including group and one-to-one activities, community events, and regular entertainers.

Experience
Nursing home experience is essential. Syringe driver experience, catheterisation, blood sampling, PEG feeding, and stoma care are highly desirable.

You communicate effectively, pay close attention to detail, and embrace continuous learning and development. Ability to perform physical tasks such as assisting residents with mobility is essential.

Qualifications
A nursing qualification recognised by the UK NMC. Valid UK NMC PIN and registration to practice as Registered General Nurse (RGN), Learning & Disability Nurse (RNLD), or Mental Health Nurse (RMN). Good understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty safeguards. The role is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service checks.
