About the Role
Join our multi-award-winning organisation as a Relief Kitchen Assistant within our Hospitality team. This role involves delivering excellent Hospitality Services across our Campus, Care Homes, and Community Centres. As a Relief/Bank Kitchen Assistant, you will provide absence cover and support the team to maintain high standards. Your key responsibilities will include basic food preparation such as vegetables, salads, and sandwiches, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment, preparing and arranging food counters and dining areas ready for service, serving hot and cold food and beverages, and operating the till including cashing up when required. You will play a vital role in creating an inviting and pleasant environment for our customers.

Experience
Previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment is desirable. Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.

About you
Confident communicator with great interpersonal skills, able to engage with a range of people. Good literacy and numeracy skills are required. Willingness to undertake appropriate training such as Supervision and NVQ Training is expected.

Qualifications
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is required or willingness to obtain this qualification.
