Relief Housekeeping Assistant

Greater London - North West London area including Golders Green, Hendon, and Fortune Green.

This is a relief position which may include some weekend working.

About the Role
Join our multi-award-winning organisation as a Relief Housekeeping Assistant within our Hospitality team. You will play a key role in delivering housekeeping services across our Campus, Care Homes, and Community Centres to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness levels, ensuring safe and hygienic working practices, supporting hospitality events and festivals, assisting with laundry duties including washing, ironing and distribution, and following Infection Control procedures. You will also inspect, monitor, and report on products, appliances, and consumables, ensure proper waste disposal in line with policy, and report any hazards or maintenance issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor. This role is vital in creating an inviting and pleasant environment for our service users.
Experience
Previous experience working within a housekeeping environment, both independently and as part of a team. Experience in a similar setting with a strong commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene is essential.

You understand the challenges and sensitivity required to support vulnerable people. You are reliable, attentive to detail, and committed to delivering excellent service. You are willing to work flexibly, including some weekends.
Qualifications
Current COSHH training and an Accredited Infection Control Certificate are desirable, or you must be willing to undertake this training.
