About the Role
Make an impact through technology and lead the future of IT at Jewish Care. We are on an exciting journey to transform how we use digital technology—helping our staff work more efficiently, improving quality, and enhancing the lives of the people we support across our services. As Head of IT Delivery, you will lead our IT Operations function and play a pivotal role in driving this transformation. Reporting to the Head of Digital Transformation & IT, this senior leadership role carries strategic influence and operational responsibility across all areas of IT delivery.

You will lead and develop a high-performing IT team focused on excellence in service, innovation, and collaboration. Your oversight will include IT Support, Infrastructure, and BAU IT Services—ensuring smooth system operations, proactive problem-solving, and delivery of technology projects aligned with Jewish Care’s strategic goals.

As a visible leader across the organisation, you will put the end user at the heart of decision-making and ensure IT is recognised as a trusted, customer-focused partner. You will work closely with colleagues across the Digital Transformation Programme, the Senior Leadership Team, and the IT Security & Risk Manager to maintain efficient, secure, and continually improving systems.

Experience
- Proven experience (8+ years) leading IT operations in a complex organisation, ideally within care, charity, or not-for-profit sectors.
- Experience delivering IT services and infrastructure using Microsoft Azure and M365.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices, ITIL, and service management principles.
- Demonstrated success in leading teams, motivating others, and managing technical projects from start to finish.
- Excellent relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to balance operational detail and long-term vision.

Qualifications
- ITIL certification (essential)
- Degree in a STEM or related field (desirable)
- Technical certifications such as MS Azure Admin, CompTIA Network+, CISSP (desirable)
