Key responsibilities include assisting the Head Chef in all aspects of food preparation, production, and service; ensuring quality and presentation meet company standards; supervising and training kitchen staff; assisting in menu planning; overseeing stock control; collaborating on special events; maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment; supporting administrative tasks; staying updated on culinary trends; and fostering a positive working environment through leadership and teamwork.

Experience
Previous experience in a similar role within a large contract catering environment, hotel, or restaurant is required.

You are passionate about food and service, enthusiastic, fun, and a team player who enjoys succeeding as part of a team. You have excellent organisational skills, strong communication abilities, and a flexible approach to work including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Qualifications
A culinary degree or relevant certifications from a recognized culinary institute.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume kitchen environment.
