About the Role
As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for the cleaning and servicing of guest rooms, ensuring they are always cleaned to brand standards and well presented. You will report any maintenance defects in guest rooms and on guest floors through KnowCross. You will ensure all guest rooms and public areas adhere to brand standards and quality audit standards. Your duties will also include cleaning and servicing public areas and back of house areas, maintaining exterior areas such as guest entrances and loading bays, and overseeing the daily delivery and collection of linen and terry. You will be responsible for stocking linen and housekeeping supplies on guest floors and in stores, ensuring these areas are clean and well maintained. Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of guest floors at all times is essential. You will assist with other housekeeping tasks as required, adhere to all Health and Safety standards, handle cleaning materials correctly in line with COSHH regulations, and attend all required training sessions. A positive and friendly attitude is expected at all times, providing the highest level of customer care and a helpful, responsive service to guests.
Experience
Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is advantageous but not essential. A keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining high standards is required.

You have a high level of verbal and written communication skills and competent computer skills. You are able to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers. You are detail-oriented and committed to ensuring rooms meet the highest standards for guests. A positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn and support the team are essential.
Qualifications
There are no specific qualifications required for this role, but a good standard of education and the ability to follow health and safety procedures, including COSHH regulations, is important.
