While the core focus of this role will be on diagnostics, the wider APC programme encompasses a range of clinical networks and cross-cutting programmes. We aim to provide flexibility and opportunities for development within all our programme management roles and there will therefore be opportunities for the post-holder to be involved in other APC workstreams as part of their portfolio The SEL ICS and all organisations within it are ultimately working towards the triple aim of better health for everyone, better care for all patients and efficient use of NHS resources. The purpose of the SEL APC is to coordinate efforts across the three trusts in pursuit of the triple aim. By co-ordinating efforts across the acute provider sector, the APC aims to: Supporting and working closely with operational and clinical teams within Trusts to ensure the delivery of project and overall APC programme objectives Supporting the development of short, medium and long term business Presenting project information and issues, explaining complexities, to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders Participate in relevant internal and external working groups/projects, services and initiatives to provide, information and analytical advice and Supporting the development of good communication and information flows regarding the APC within the three acute providers Development of project training programmes for colleagues Operating effectively in a highly political and sensitive
