About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a SEN Tribunal Officer for Croydon Council and make a difference in the lives of local children and young people. If you have excellent interpersonal skills and great problem-solving abilities, then this role is for you.
You will lead and take direct responsibility for the Local Authority’s formal response to individual appeals to the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal (SENDIST). You will also lead on the Local Authority’s management of SEN mediation requests.
In addition, you will be responsible for providing detailed feedback and reports on mediation and Tribunal related matters to support the strategic development of the wider SEN service.

Experience
Experience in managing formal responses to tribunal appeals or mediation processes is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications
