About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and child-focused Team Manager to lead our innovative Court and Early Permanence Team, a specialist service dedicated to improving outcomes for children whose care plans are adoption. You will lead a team committed to delivering high quality care planning and permanency for children under 16, ensuring safeguarding and well-being outcomes are met. This role requires experience in adoption services, care planning, quality assuring CPRS and life story work, and a strong background in care proceedings. You will be responsible for managing operational change and performance management to improve social work practice at an operational level.

Experience
Proven experience working with adoption services, care planning, and care proceedings. Experience in quality assuring CPRS and life story work. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage operational change effectively. Experience managing or supervising childcare social workers with evidence of good outcomes for children and young people.
About You
Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England. Working knowledge of national policy, strategy, and developments in children’s social care and related areas. Ability to lead improvement in social work practice through effective performance management. Skilled in managing high risk and complex cases to deliver safeguarding and well-being outcomes.
Qualifications
Qualified Social Worker status with Social Work England registration is essential.
