About the Role
As a Senior 3D Designer specialising in retail store environments, you will be a key member of our creative team, responsible for bringing high-impact, immersive retail spaces to life. From ideation and concept through to detailed visualisation and hand-off, you will craft store designs that combine brand storytelling, spatial strategy and production feasibility. Using your deep experience in 3D visualisation, particularly with SketchUp and V-Ray, you will deliver high-quality renderings, walkthroughs and technical visuals. You will collaborate closely with creative, production and technical teams to ensure designs are visually compelling, buildable, on-schedule and commercially viable. Your role extends beyond design and visualisation to include a strong understanding of materials, production processes, and their impact on the final retail environment, ensuring designs can be effectively implemented.

Your Responsibilities
Lead the 3D visualisation process for retail environmental designs from design brief through to final presentation and production-ready visuals. Work closely with account teams and clients to translate briefs into creative spatial concepts and 3D visuals. Develop detailed 3D models in SketchUp and high-quality renders with V-Ray, including lighting, materials, textures, store ambience, fixtures and finishes. Generate experiential ideas for in-store activations where desirable. Collaborate with creative, client services and production/installation partners to align designs with brand strategy, spatial planning and build constraints. Manage timelines, deliverables and workflow across multiple projects, adhering to agency processes and standards. Ensure deliverables meet rigorous quality standards visually, technically and for production/installation usability. Support production teams by providing accurate visuals for procurement, fabrication and installation stages, including plans, elevations, sections and 3D exploded views. Participate in new business pitches by developing 3D animation, visualisation and presentation assets to support proposals and win work.

Other Details
You will work within a collaborative team of designers creating work for key global retail accounts, including retail toolkits and brand experiences across the world. Experience working on retail toolkits and with Sports, Culture or Fashion brands is preferred. Reporting to the Associate Design Director, you will be comfortable working independently and owning projects while collaborating on larger team efforts.

Experience
Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in an agency environment or extended freelance within an agency, specialising in retail store design or spatial brand experience. Proven proficiency in SketchUp modelling and V-Ray rendering with a strong portfolio showcasing retail store environments, fixture design, brand spaces or experiential interiors. Experience working on retail toolkits and with Sports, Culture or Fashion brands is preferred.

About You
You understand the end-to-end retail store design process from concept, spatial planning, visualisation to production/installation hand-off. You possess a strong aesthetic sense, awareness of current design and retail trends, and a desire to push creative ideas while maintaining practicality and buildability. You are organised, detail-oriented and disciplined in managing time, deliverables and communications. Confident in client-facing roles, you can present visual work, explain design rationale, receive feedback and adapt accordingly. You are collaborative, supportive, fun and a great team player, able to motivate and work well across creative, production and technical teams. Bonus skills include experience with other 3D tools (e.g., Enscape, Twinmotion), working knowledge of fabrication/installation in retail stores, and interest or experience using AI platforms to support the creative process.
