National: £42,914 - £46,182 (may include an allowance of up to £9,424)

About the Role
We are recruiting a Senior Analytics Engineer to join Justice Digital, Data and Science within the Ministry of Justice. This role is part of a collaborative Data Modelling and Engineering team focused on transforming how data is used in the public sector. You will work with leading cloud technologies to develop analytical pipelines and self-service tools that enable data-driven decision making.
As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will bridge the gap between data producers and users by building, testing, and maintaining dimensional data models and analytical pipelines. You will collaborate closely with Data Engineers and Data Platform colleagues to ensure data quality, completeness, and accessibility on our Analytical Platform. This role requires passing Security Check clearance.

Experience
- Using SQL to query and transform data
- Dimensional modelling including designing and populating star schemas
- Working with large relational databases
