About the Role
The Ministry of Justice is seeking a Data Warden Support Officer to join the Prison Data Assurance team within the Analysis Directorate. This role provides expert support to ensure data governance, quality, architecture, and management across prison datasets collected and reported via the HMPPS Performance Hub, a web-based reporting service. The post involves collecting, processing, quality assuring, and uploading prison data by agreed deadlines, responding to data enquiries, investigating anomalies, and providing guidance on custodial datasets. You will also deliver national and bespoke upskilling sessions, draft process guidance, and conduct quality checks on prison incident report data. This role reports to the Data Warden and does not have line management responsibilities. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to improving justice outcomes through robust data and analysis in a dynamic and supportive environment.
