About the Role
Shape the future of Post Trade at LSEG. The London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is expanding its Post Trade capabilities with a new suite of services designed to modernize how firms manage clearing, settlement, and operational processes. As part of this growth, we are hiring a Senior Associate to join our Rates TradeAgent Product Development team in London. As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering new capabilities for LSEG’s expanding Post Trade ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include contributing to the innovation and build-out of new products and services, translating end-user needs into clear product requirements and solution specifications, working closely with technology teams to support development, testing, and release cycles, and partnering with internal stakeholders and external clients to resolve queries and ensure successful adoption.

You will also support automated testing and quality assurance across development sprints, identify opportunities to enhance current systems and shape future technology direction, produce high-quality documentation, and contribute to risk and issue management. You will be joining a fast-moving team with significant visibility and growth potential as our Post Trade services scale.

Experience
3–5 years of relevant experience in product development, business analysis, post-trade operations, or related financial services roles. Background as a Business Analyst or Product Owner within a Scrum/Agile team. Experience in a delivery-focused role within a middle-office, post-trade, investment bank, institutional investor, or clearing organisation. Ability to participate in Agile ceremonies, write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and refine backlogs. Strong understanding of end-to-end processes and dependencies across systems and services. Quality mindset with hands-on testing experience. Proficiency with tools such as MS Office, Jira, and Lucid. Analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.

Enjoys solving complex problems and thrives in Agile delivery. Good communication and collaboration skills. Proactive, organised, and comfortable managing shifting priorities. Ability to analyse processes and break them down into deliverables.

Ideal experience
Exposure to JSON or FpML message structures. Knowledge of OTC Trade Processing, including an understanding of trade structure, terms, lifecycle, and associated settlement processes. Experience in OTC Rates is advantageous.
