Your responsibilities include receiving, recording, and transmitting information accurately via face-to-face, written, electronic, or telephonic means to facilitate effective perioperative patient care.

Collaboration with Theatre Matron, TSSU, and MEMU is key to ensure equipment is decontaminated properly, records are maintained accurately, and decontamination charges are correct. You will ensure instruments are processed promptly for scheduled procedures and are ready for collection by the required dates.
Additionally, you will maintain national registries such as the National Joint Registry as required by the NHS and identify potential equipment issues that could impact patient care, taking appropriate action to resolve them.
