Your role is to drive the delivery of effective financial management, control and advisory support for Business Units and projects/contracts. You will support the production of financial budgets, forecasts and analysis to ensure robust financial decision-making.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with Project Managers to drive project performance, providing objective financial advice and challenge, investigating financial risks and opportunities, and supporting Project Managers to improve financial accountability through coaching and training. You will also work closely with the Commercial Team to deliver business insight, promote good financial disciplines and risk management, and ensure compliance with internal control frameworks.

Additional duties involve managing accounting processes on projects, developing strong partnering relationships, influencing financial plans, collaborating with Finance Business Partner colleagues to share best practices, and supporting Oracle Super Users to manage workload peaks and resolve issues. You will act as a critical adviser on key financial decisions and manage direct reports, fostering a collaborative and continuous improvement culture within the Finance team.

Experience
Strong knowledge and experience in budgeting, planning and forecasting. Proven expertise in management reporting and financial analysis. Demonstrable experience delivering a Finance Business Partner role. Financial/accounting experience with the ability to provide actionable insight and sound project financial advice.

Qualifications
Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent. Degree or equivalent standard of education.
