We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Legacy Marketing Officer to join our growing Legacy Marketing Team. This is a role created as a part of an increased investment in our Legacy programme, making it a great time to join Mencap as we grow and improve our marketing. Our Legacy Marketing Team is responsible for marketing and raising awareness of gifts in Wills, our Wills and Trusts service and In Memory giving. What work will you do as a Senior Legacy Marketing Officer? - Leading cross-channel acquisition campaigns to increase quality leads for gifts in Wills and Wills and Trusts with a focus on digital acquisition. - Supporting the Legacy Marketing Manager on the creation of new marketing propositions working with Legacy Foresight and rolling it out across our materials and campaigns. - Manage the content gathering to ensure all campaigns have engaging content and imagery. - Manage and own relationships with key external and internal stakeholders At Mencap, we value a diverse and inclusive workplace and we intentionally plan for the success of our colleagues in everything we do. What we are looking for in a Senior Legacy Marketing Officer? - We are looking for a person who can hit the ground running. - Experience in planning and delivering marketing campaigns - Strong project management skills and experience in the acquisition and stewardship of legacy supporters, keeping them engaged via compelling fundraising communications. This role will require you to be a strong multitasker and communicator and we will need you to have the proven ability to stick to deadlines and to manage stakeholder relationships. We are also looking for someone with an ambition to exceed set targets and for the person to have the ability to analyse data, as well as contributing new ideas to the function on how we can continually improve our work.
