About the Role
The Senior Manager for Product Management Training & Enablement is responsible for the hands-on design and delivery of product management training across the organisation, focusing primarily on bootcamp-style programmes and instructor-led learning. This role leads the end-to-end delivery of the Product Excellence Bootcamp, providing structured training for Product Managers at various stages of their development, and ensures that training translates into observable improvements in product practice and decision quality. The role does not own products or delivery teams; its impact is achieved through direct facilitation, instructing, coaching, and practical application of product management skills at scale.

Key responsibilities include:

- Owning the build, facilitation, and delivery of the Product Excellence Bootcamp, including live instructor-led sessions, interactive workshops, simulations, and practical role-based exercises tied to real work.
- Continuously improving bootcamp content to ensure it is practical, experience-led, aligned to product maturity and strategy, and directly applicable to day-to-day Product Manager roles.
- Designing and delivering standalone training modules covering product discovery, problem framing, strategy, prioritisation, trade-off decisions, outcome-based road mapping, metrics, and customer engagement.
- Tailoring delivery for different audiences such as new PMs, Senior PMs, and Product Leads.
- Acting as a lead facilitator and building credibility as a recognised internal authority through consistent, high-quality delivery.
- Ensuring training converts into applied capability through follow-ups, clinics, reinforcement sessions, coaching, peer learning, and case reviews.
- Partnering with Product Leaders to support the application of learning within teams.
- Providing targeted 1:1 or small-group coaching focused on applying training tools, improving judgement and decision-making, and navigating real product challenges.
- Owning training-ready representations of product management templates, tools, and artefacts, ensuring alignment with Enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) standards.
- Collaborating closely with the Senior Manager, Enterprise Product Lifecycle Management to validate and refine training materials.
- Working with Product Managers, Engineering and Operations leaders, and Learning/Talent teams to align training priorities with capability gaps and strategic product priorities.
- Leading training delivery programmes with significant autonomy and personally delivering a meaningful proportion of product training.
- Being accountable for the quality, effectiveness, and credibility of product management training across multiple product areas without line management responsibility.
