About the Role
The Senior Market Data Compliance Manager leads the delivery of the market data audit and compliance programme, ensuring that client and vendor use of LSEG venue and index data is assessed against applicable agreements, commercial policies and reporting obligations. This role provides leadership across audit planning, complex case management, client engagement, remediation, revenue recovery, governance and process improvement. Combining deep market data licensing knowledge with sound judgement, the role ensures findings are evidence-led, commercially consistent and capable of withstanding internal, client and legal review. The role also develops the audit team, strengthens stakeholder alignment and drives automation and data-led improvements across the audit lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include owning the global audit plan and prioritisation process, leading and developing auditors, overseeing complex compliance reviews, ensuring accuracy and completeness of audit documentation, managing client challenges and negotiations, driving remediation efforts, maintaining visibility of audit pipelines and risks, governing audit-related records, leading continuous improvement and automation initiatives, partnering with reporting and platform teams, ensuring correct handling of Restricted Customer Information (RCI), and promoting responsible use of AI and analytical tools.

The role also involves setting clear expectations and quality standards for the audit team, coaching auditors, providing senior oversight for sensitive audits, building effective stakeholder relationships, fostering a collaborative culture, approving audit scopes and findings, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of information, and monitoring adherence to standards and controls.

Success in this role is measured by delivery of a risk-based audit plan, high-quality evidence-led outputs, effective remediation of non-compliance, disciplined management of complex client matters, reliable management information, measurable automation improvements, and a capable, engaged team with strong market data knowledge.
