About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Senior Marketing Manager to join the Tatcha UK team at Unilever. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded marketing professional with strong expertise across digital, product, retail, and prestige beauty marketing to significantly impact the growth of the Tatcha brand in the UK.
Tatcha was founded in 2009 by Vicky Tsai, inspired by the culture of harmony, beauty, and well-being she discovered in Kyoto. Every Tatcha formula is crafted at the Tatcha Institute in Tokyo, blending timeless Japanese botanicals with proven clinical ingredients to work with skin, not against it.
In partnership with the Senior National Account Manager, you will develop holistic and integrated marketing campaigns that enhance customer experience, drive retail sales, and meet category objectives within key retail partners, focusing on maximum ROI. You will own and execute the brand marketing go-to-market strategy, balancing all channels to deliver ambitious revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail Marketing
- Develop and execute annual retail marketing trade plans aligned with brand priorities, retailer objectives, and commercial targets.
- Manage full 360° retail marketing programming including retailer.com placements, promotional events, media, digital marketing, social media, and co-op marketing.
- Adapt brand materials for channel-specific in-store and online execution; manage brand assets including marketing collateral, promotional materials, gratis, copy, and imagery.
- Analyze retailer-specific marketing reports to provide actionable recommendations.
- Develop and manage retailer acquisition and retention initiatives, negotiating marketing levers and ensuring seamless execution.
Brand Marketing
- Develop and issue marketing briefs for all projects to cross-functional global partners.
- Lead marketing programs including campaigns, sets, assets, GWPs, and promotional initiatives to support channel and commercial objectives.
- Identify opportunities to increase brand awareness, customer engagement, and loyalty across sales channels.
Merchandising Strategy
- Determine in-store and retailer.com assortments, fixture types, visual merchandising, and product pages using performance metrics and competitive insights.
- Develop creative concepts and content supporting paid media campaigns and retailer social initiatives.
Budget Management
- Develop annual marketing budgets for each channel, track spend and co-op investments, review invoices, and support budget reconciliation.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong marketing fundamentals, analytical skills, and a passion for delivering innovative marketing solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Marketing Manager role with proven managerial experience.
- Demonstrated success in driving business growth through prestige beauty marketing strategies, especially with key retail partners such as Sephora and Space NK.
- Strong background in digital, product, retail, and prestige beauty marketing.
About You
- Strategic thinker able to translate data and insights into actionable marketing plans.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience measuring performance and making data-driven decisions.
- Customer-obsessed with deep understanding of the consumer journey and retail marketing levers.
- Highly collaborative with the ability to influence cross-functional partners and gain stakeholder alignment.
- Results-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Creative problem solver with a forward-thinking mindset and passion for innovation.
- Demonstrates strong learning agility, initiative, and adaptability to changing business needs.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to inspire and influence partners and gain acceptance for strategic initiatives.
- Intuition for synthesizing data to drive business decisions.
- Alignment with Unilever’s winning behaviours: Care Deeply, Focus on What Matters, Deliver with Excellence, Stay Three Steps Ahead.
- Future-fit skills including creativity, customer/consumer experience, and problem solving.
