About the Role
The Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiographer will perform all standard and complex Nuclear Medicine, SPECT/CT procedures using highly specialised equipment, ensuring the health and safety of self, staff, and patients. This role involves specialisation in advanced areas of Nuclear Medicine, such as cardiac stressing and paediatric imaging. Responsibilities include adhering to standard operating procedures, acting as an operator under IR(ME)R, managing patient consent and clinical history, administering diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals, and ensuring high-quality imaging. The role also includes participating in quality assurance, waste monitoring, and the development of new techniques.
Experience
Experience in Nuclear Medicine and familiarity with advanced imaging techniques is essential.

You should possess strong leadership skills, be able to supervise junior staff, and have excellent communication abilities to interact with patients and colleagues effectively. A commitment to continuing professional development is crucial.
Qualifications
A relevant degree in Radiography or a related field is required. Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is essential.
