About the Role
At Algolia, we are pioneers and market leaders in AI Search, powering over 30 billion search requests weekly for 17,000+ businesses worldwide. Our Dashboard Platform team is dedicated to enabling developers at Algolia to ship frontend features to our customer-facing Dashboard, ensuring a great and consistent customer experience at scale. As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will focus heavily on infrastructure automation and play a key role in building and operating core features of the Algolia Dashboard and its supporting infrastructure.

You will work on building new services that power our infrastructure platform, enabling quick and autonomous deployment for all teams using Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS. You will also develop tooling, features, and guidelines that enhance the Developer Experience, collaborating closely with developers across teams to support adoption and usage of these tools.

This role requires autonomy, leadership, and a global perspective to plan and orchestrate changes across multiple projects and teams. You will join a newly formed team of senior engineers and a manager, all passionate about delivering exceptional developer and customer experiences. While based in Paris, we offer flexible remote work options.

Experience
- Significant experience in infrastructure automation and backend engineering.
- Strong knowledge of modern infrastructure management tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform on cloud providers (AWS, GCP, etc).
- Familiarity with AI coding agents.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality code with automated testing and engineering best practices.
- Experience working in high-growth environments with 10,000+ customers and $50-200M ARR is preferred.

Qualifications
- Experience with Go and Ruby on Rails is a plus.
- Knowledge of modern web development technologies including JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS is desirable.
