About the Role
Moonbug Entertainment is an award-winning global entertainment company inspiring kids everywhere to laugh, learn and grow. The company is behind some of the biggest kids’ entertainment brands in the world including CoComelon and Blippi. Our shows are available on more than 150 video platforms globally including Netflix, Disney+, BBC iPlayer and YouTube Kids. Moonbug is also a global leader in pre-school music and audio experiences, available on 100+ audio platforms worldwide. Our brands extend beyond the screen to include streaming music, toys, games, books, live events, and theme park exhibits. Moonbug is part of Candle Media, a creator-friendly home for cutting-edge, high-quality, category-defining brands and franchises.

As a Senior Post Production Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our world-class animated and live-action content moves seamlessly from production to delivery. Managing a diverse slate of global projects, you will bridge the gap between creative teams, technical staff, and external partners, ensuring that our high-quality standards are maintained at scale. This is not a passive coordination role; you will have genuine ownership over workflows, timelines, and delivery pipelines. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Producers, Editorial and Tech to optimize our post-production ecosystems.

If you are an experienced post-production professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and loves building efficient, modern workflows, this role offers the space to make a tangible impact on globally recognized franchises.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the UK-based audio and video post-production teams while collaborating closely with the US team to ensure global alignment and creative cohesion.
- Manage complex post-production schedules, resource allocation, and project management tracking systems (e.g., ShotGrid, Monday.com) to keep teams organized and accountable.
- Oversee the entire post-production lifecycle across multiple concurrent audio and video content streams, ensuring all creative and technical milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Continuously evaluate, design, and implement highly efficient workflows across editing, sound design, mixing, and color grading to maximize team output.
- Build strong relationships and work closely with cross-departmental stakeholders to align post-production capabilities with broader business objectives and delivery needs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external facilities, freelancers, and platform delivery teams; source and negotiate with vendors, manage onboarding, and foster collaborative partnerships.
- Guarantee that all final masters undergo thorough internal checks, meet multi-language delivery requirements, and strictly adhere to global broadcast and streaming technical standards before official QC submission.
- Anticipate and swiftly resolve technical bottlenecks, pipeline friction, or scheduling conflicts before they impact delivery timelines.
- Monitor team spend with support from finance teams, including internal recharging for budgeting and tracking internal job costs.

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience working as a Post Production Manager or Senior Coordinator within a fast-paced production company, studio, or post-house. Experience with kids' content, animation, or high-volume digital media is highly advantageous.

Technical Compliance & Delivery
Serve as the final gatekeeper for all technical specifications, ensuring assets are properly mastered for global distribution, including correct wrapping, codec utilisation and audio mapping.

Technical Literacy
Deep understanding of modern post-production pipelines, including offline/online editing, audio mixing, color workflows (HDR/SDR), codecs, frame rates, and multi-platform delivery specs.

Software Familiarity
Proficiency with industry-standard project management tools (e.g., ShotGrid, Monday.com, Jira) and strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, DaVinci Resolve, and Pro Tools workflows.

Organizational Excellence
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with a proven track record of managing multiple complex schedules simultaneously without compromising on quality.

Communication Skills
Strong, clear verbal and written communication style, with the ability to translate technical post-production concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Adaptable Mindset
A proactive problem-solver who remains calm under pressure and thrives in an evolving, digital-first environment.
