
Location
London Borough of Newham, Dockside, East London. Easily accessible by public transport including bus, tube, DLR, and close to London City Airport and the Olympic Park.
Hours
Full time and part time availability considered (minimum 0.6 FTE).
Salary
Up to £66,748 per annum, inclusive of all Soulbury scales, inner London weighting, and SPA points.
About the Role
Join a vibrant, diverse borough committed to inclusive education and outstanding services for children and young people with SEND. As a Senior Practitioner Educational Psychologist, you will deliver evidence-based, high quality psychological services to children, young people, and families. You will work within a consultation service that prioritises collaboration with parents and professionals to ensure accessible psychology support. This role offers opportunities for supervision, project development, leadership, and team building within the Educational Psychology Service (EPS). You will contribute to a wide range of work streams including early intervention strategies, therapeutic techniques, psychological assessment, systemic consultation, and community initiatives such as Youth Justice, Youth Empowerment, and CHAND (Children with Autism in Newham). The EPS is recognised by Ofsted as an area of strength and is highly valued by schools and services. You will be part of a supportive, well-resourced team with excellent induction, supervision, CPD, and flexible/hybrid working arrangements.
Experience
Applicants should be experienced Educational Psychologists or those in year 2 or 3 of a recognised training course. Experience in supporting inclusion of vulnerable children and young people is essential. Experience in multi-disciplinary team working and project leadership is desirable.

Qualifications
