About the Role
We’re Breast Cancer Now, the research and support charity dedicated to everything breast cancer. We are seeking an experienced procurement manager to help us achieve best value for money with our spend, enabling greater investment in services supporting people affected by breast cancer. You will work within the legal and governance team, responsible for initiating and supporting procurement projects. This role involves building strong relationships with contract owners, offering best practice guidance to help achieve their objectives while ensuring value for money and risk mitigation. As the charity grows, you will have opportunities to share your expertise and develop procurement experience across a wide and varied range of contracts.

Experience
Proven procurement experience leading and supporting tenders for goods and services, with sound knowledge of IT system procurement. Experience with charity-specific contracts is advantageous but not essential.

About you
Strong negotiating skills with the ability to lead supplier commercial negotiations. Demonstrable track record of adding value to the procurement process. Ability to draft tender specifications and statements of work is essential.

Qualifications
CIPS qualified or working towards the qualification is advantageous but not essential.
