The vacancy Your day might begin with a strategic meeting to review the progress of a large-scale refurbishment programme, ensuring budgets and timelines are on track. You could then visit a project site to oversee contractor performance and compliance with health and safety regulations. Later, you might collaborate with stakeholders to address resident concerns or prepare detailed reports for leadership on key performance metrics. By the end of the day, you'll ensure plans for upcoming projects align with Peabody's goals and priorities. As a Senior Project Manager, you will take the lead in delivering planned investment programmes and managing significant construction and refurbishment projects. Overseeing budgets, you'll provide leadership to your team while effectively managing contracts, ensuring value for money and outstanding results. Your expertise will ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards, enhancing resident satisfaction and safety. You'll lead by example, creating a high-performance culture within your team and fostering strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders. With a focus on compliance, quality, and customer service, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the success of Peabody's investment programmes. You will need to be in the office a minimum of 2 days a week. To be successful in this role, you're: A proven leader with the ability to motivate and manage professional and technical teams. Experienced in managing large-scale social housing or refurbishment projects. Knowledgeable in building construction, contract management, and regulatory compliance. Skilled in managing budgets, planning, and prioritising a diverse workload. Committed to delivering excellent customer service and promoting a safety-first culture. About you: You will have: MRICS, CIOB, Degree, or HNC in a relevant field, or equivalent experience managing construction projects. Extensive experience in delivering multi-million-pound partnering contracts and leading teams. A strong understanding of building contracts, health and safety legislation, and compliance requirements. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
