About the Role
Are you passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities and driving positive change? Join Mencap's Supported Internship programme team as a Senior Skills Coach in Ealing. In this pivotal role, you will lead and line manage a team of Skills Coaches, ensuring tailored support is provided to learners with special educational needs (SEN) to help them complete all elements of the programme successfully. You will be responsible for planning work support hours to meet targets for Access to Work funding, building strong relationships with parents, carers, learner support networks, and employers, and maintaining accurate records and reporting. Additionally, you will conduct quality assurance activities to drive continuous improvement and collaborate closely with the wider team to meet learner needs effectively.
Experience
- Experience of supporting people with learning disabilities or SEN
- Proven ability to deliver against targets
- Experience in risk management
- Knowledge of the sector and safe working practices

Qualifications
A-C/9-4 GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent) are required. Candidates will need to provide evidence of these qualifications at interview.
