About the Role
Are you passionate about empowering young people with learning disabilities, learning difficulties or autism to take their first steps into work? Join our growing Supported Internship team in Barnet as a creative and dedicated Tutor. Our Supported Internships combine high-quality teaching with real-life work experience, helping young people build confidence, independence and lasting employability skills.
As a Tutor, you will:
- Teach Functional Skills English and Maths up to Level 2
- Deliver creative lessons in employability and workplace skills
- Support learners both in the classroom and in their work placements
- Help young people move into paid, sustainable employment

Experience
- Supporting SEND learners in a teaching or training environment
- Delivering and assessing Functional Skills English & Maths
About you
- Strong planning, organisation and classroom management abilities
- Commitment to inclusive practice, person-centred support, equality and safeguarding
Qualifications
- Minimum Level 3 Award in Education (or equivalent), with willingness to progress to Level 5
- GCSE English and Maths (A–C / 9–4 or equivalent)
