About the Role
ClearScore is a workplace like no other. Over the past ten years, we’ve disrupted an entire industry and built a user base of millions. At the heart of this success is our culture: we work hard, embrace change, and treat each other with respect, enabling everyone to reach their potential and deliver results that truly make a difference. We’re on a mission to positively impact the lives of our users by putting their needs at the centre of our thinking. Through cutting-edge technology, insightful analytics, and beautiful design, we help our users build financial confidence and make better financial decisions.
Our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team is expanding to support productivity, reliability, and efficiency. The team is responsible for building our internal developer platform which provides 99.9% uptime to all critical services, supports over a thousand production releases per month, and scales intelligently in response to system load and unexpected events.
Joining our SRE team gives you the chance to be at the heart of an exciting tech culture, exploring best-in-class tools to solve challenging problems. We use a broad technology stack including Kubernetes, Go, Python, Kafka, Terraform, Jenkins, and ArgoCD. While prior exposure to these technologies is beneficial, we value strong fundamentals in automation, networking, and containerisation, confident that specific tools can be learned on the job.
You will work with a range of technologies including Kubernetes, AWS, Python, Go, Terraform, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Kafka, with full support to learn how these are applied across the business. You will be encouraged to use AI tooling pragmatically to improve efficiency while ensuring changes remain thoughtful, reviewable, and maintainable. You will contribute to operational support, take ownership of investigating and resolving routine issues, and build an understanding of how your work impacts other teams and the wider business.
ClearScore is the UK's #1 credit score and report app, with over 20 million users globally across the UK, South Africa, Australia, and Canada. We are user-centric, design-led, and data-driven, embedding these values in everything we do. Our culture promotes flexibility, wellbeing, and career growth, trusting our people to manage their own time and focusing on outcomes rather than hours spent.
We offer a hybrid work model designed to balance flexibility with collaborative in-person experiences, fostering innovation, team connection, and individual productivity. Our office days are coordinated to maximise team interactions, learning, and mentorship opportunities.
If you are passionate about making a real impact, working with a talented and diverse team, and growing your career in a supportive environment, ClearScore could be the place for you.
