About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our Family Safeguarding Service. The role involves working within a dynamic team that makes decisions and performs statutory functions to ensure the best outcomes for children and their families. You will work with children across various services including Children in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and some Looked After Children (LAC). While experience with LAC is desirable, it is not essential. This position requires providing professional advice and skills in the day-to-day running of the team, supervising social workers and unqualified professionals, and reporting to the Team Manager on team performance. There is also an opportunity to gain court experience as part of this role.

Experience
Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in frontline and assessment social work, ideally within fast-paced teams such as Child Protection and Referral and Assessment.

About you
Knowledgeable and experienced in working within frontline social work teams. Ability to supervise social workers and unqualified staff effectively. Access to your own vehicle is required.

Qualifications
Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) and current Social Work England registration.
