About the Role
Meta is seeking talented engineers to join our Central Integrity team, dedicated to keeping billions of people safe on Meta's platforms. Our team designs and deploys systems that detect and disrupt harm at an unprecedented global scale, leveraging some of the largest AI deployments for positive real-world impact in the industry. We safeguard critical areas including child and youth safety, fraud and scams, identity and authenticity, while building defenses against emerging threats such as autonomous AI agents and automated risk vectors. This role involves some of the most technically demanding and high-stakes engineering and product work at Meta, driven by a deeply mission-focused team.

As a technical leader, you will drive the team's goals and technical direction to enhance organizational efficiency. You will communicate complex features and systems in detail, understand industry and company-wide trends to assess and develop new technologies, and collaborate with organizational leaders to improve team and organizational performance. You will identify new opportunities, influence staffing and prioritization, lead long-term technical vision and roadmaps for large cross-company efforts, and synthesize requirements into effective feature roadmaps. Additionally, you will identify and resolve performance and scalability issues and lead efforts to reduce technical debt.

This role combines strong engineering fundamentals with cutting-edge AI to build adaptable solutions that stay ahead of evolving integrity and safety risks. If you are driven by hard technical challenges and want your work to deliver immediate, real-world impact, this is the right role for you.

- Experience mentoring and influencing executive stakeholders across organizations
- Proven track record driving large cross-functional, industry-wide engineering efforts
- Experience communicating and collaborating across functions to drive solutions
- Demonstrated ability to plan multi-year roadmaps aligning short-term projects with long-term missions
- Experience integrating AI tools to optimize workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
- Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
- Ongoing AI skill development and staying current with emerging AI technologies (prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration)
- 8+ years relevant experience building large-scale infrastructure applications or similar
- Experience improving quality through code reviews, testing, rollout, monitoring, and proactive changes
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or Java, and scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Hack

You thrive in a mission-driven environment and are motivated by delivering real-world impact through innovative AI and infrastructure solutions. You communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and can influence at all organizational levels. You are proactive in identifying opportunities and driving technical vision and execution.
