Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams (product, design, operations, infrastructure) to build innovative application experiences; implementing custom user interfaces using the latest programming techniques and technologies; analyzing and optimizing code for quality, efficiency, and performance; providing feedback to peers during code reviews; setting direction and goals for teams; leading major initiatives; providing technical guidance and mentorship; and helping onboard new team members. You will architect efficient and scalable systems that drive complex applications, identify and resolve performance and scalability issues, and lead large efforts to reduce technical debt. You will work with a variety of coding languages and technologies and establish ownership of components, features, or systems with expert end-to-end understanding.

Experience
- Programming experience in a relevant language
- Demonstrated experience driving change within an organization and leading complex technical projects
- Experience utilizing data and analysis to explain technical problems and provide detailed feedback and solutions
- Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
- Experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
- Experience with multithreading programming and mobile memory management
- Experience building complex applications for the iPhone or iPad using Objective-C/C++/Swift with the iOS SDK and other frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
- Shipped at least one large-scale product to production, supporting millions of active users

Qualifications
