About the Role
As a Solution Architect at Westminster City Council, you will play a pivotal role in delivering impactful change that improves outcomes for residents, businesses, visitors, and staff across Westminster. Working within the Digital and Innovation team, you will design end-to-end solutions for complex services, ensuring compliance with architectural strategy and standards. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with suppliers and delivery teams to prioritise value for money and accessibility, translating user and business needs into effective designs. You will provide expert recommendations on service lifecycle decisions such as stopping, degrading, renewing, or rebuilding services, while maintaining technical integrity and consistency throughout each solution's lifecycle. Experience
An established professional with extensive knowledge of solution architecture, relevant technologies, tools, platforms, best practices, industry trends, and risks. Proven experience delivering designs, patterns, and decisions within an agile development environment. Strong understanding of modern technology practices including infrastructure, hosting, platforms, integration, and the environmental footprint of technology.
