Here at Peabody, we have a great opportunity for a Solutions Architect to join our team on a Permanent basis at our Westminster Bridge Road office.
What you'll need:
Experience of software development in a diverse set of areas including scalable web applications, high availability database and software solutions.
Relevant IT Architecture related academic or industry qualifications or be in the process of achieving them (e.g., BSc Computer Science or Engineering, TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect).
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C/C++, Java, C#, or .NET (memory and threading models).
Hands on experience authoring solutions using J2EE Applications, Sprint Boot framework, Node.js, AngularJS web frameworks.

A bit about the role:
As the Solutions Architect you will lead, build and be responsible for Solution Architecture function. You'll be responsible for developing and leading the implementation of technical solutions that meet the needs of our organization.
Some of the key results for the role include:
Support portfolio teams, providing design and approach consultation and estimate validation and review.
Identify organisational impact (for example, on skills, processes, technology, and information) and fiscal impact of recommended solution architecture.
Work with project management teams, engineer leads, team leads, infrastructure architects and/or engineering leads to resolve issues which arise within a project.
Take full responsibility for ensuring that solution architectures balance functional, service quality, and systems management requirements and are secure.
Write, review and approve technical designs (system, component, class, database,) focusing on quality, simplification, re-usability, and performance.
Take responsibility for the technical integrity of projects, ensuring that common technical elements are leveraged, and that work is not unnecessarily duplicated.
This role will require a minimum of 1 to 2 days working in the office.
