About the Role
As a Specialist Dietitian, you will provide a specialist dietetic service to adults with eating disorders in a community setting, including service users' homes. Your role will involve collaborating with service users and multidisciplinary team members to identify and address the complex psychological and social factors that affect compliance with dietary treatment, enabling long-term and permanent lifestyle changes. You will work autonomously within the eating disorders team with minimal daily supervision, promoting awareness of the dietitian's role within the services and negotiating priorities as appropriate. Additionally, you will effectively contribute as a team member of the dietetic service, providing a flexible service that may include emergency cover for the adult inpatient eating disorders service during dietitian leave, such as for new unplanned admissions or enteral feeding. You will support the delivery of the Dietetic team's strategic priorities and goals while aligning with the Trust's strategy and values.
Experience
Experience in providing dietetic services, particularly in the area of eating disorders, is essential.

You should be a proactive and compassionate individual who is committed to improving the lives of service users. Strong communication and teamwork skills are vital, as is the ability to work independently and manage your own caseload.
Qualifications
A relevant degree in Dietetics and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) are required for this position.
