About the Role
Join Cygnet Health Care, a leading independent provider of health and social care services across England, Scotland, and Wales, established in 1988. As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will work primarily on highly specialised male Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) wards within a 5-ward hospital located in one of London's most beautiful areas. You will assess, implement, and develop occupational therapy treatment programmes tailored to service users' diagnoses and needs, based on comprehensive assessments including risk evaluations. You will be an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT), collaborating with nurses, psychologists, social workers, speech and language therapists, psychiatrists, and occupational therapy assistants to support recovery and rehabilitation within the integrated care pathway. The MDT works closely to manage risk, support independence, and ensure safety throughout the care journey. You will benefit from working within a supportive Occupational Therapy Directorate that provides clinical leadership, specialist interest groups, service development opportunities, and a national network of over 150 occupational therapists across various specialisms including forensic practice, learning disabilities, ASD, acute mental health, and PICU. This role offers dedicated CPD time, training in sensory integration and leadership, and the opportunity to implement the Vona du Toit Model of Creative Ability (VdTMoCA). You will be part of a friendly and motivated team driven by innovation and excellence in care.
